What types of jobs generate a permit?

To generate a permit through the OneCall system, there are a few criteria needed to be met before the system is able to make the request:

• The permitting body must be registered with our service
• The job type and activity must be a valid type of excavation.
• The work must take place on or near the council or road reserve assets.

A valid job activity must have some sort of excavation to trigger the creation of the permit request.
The following job types DO NOT generate a permit request:

• Subdivision
• Conveyancing
• Planning & Design
• Tendering

These activities are considered non-invasive, so it's not necessary for the system to apply for a permit.
